For Class 6 admission, the age should be between 10-12 years as of March 31st of the admission year. For Class 9, the age should be between 13-15 years. The exact dates are specified in the AISSEE notification each year.

Yes! Since 2021, Sainik Schools have opened admissions for girls. Both boys and girls can now apply for Class 6 and Class 9 admissions through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE).

RIMC entrance exam is descriptive in nature with three subjects: English (125 marks), Mathematics (200 marks), and General Knowledge (75 marks). Students must score at least 50% in each subject to qualify. Successful candidates are then called for Viva-Voce (interview) of 50 marks.

Ideally, preparation should start at least 12-18 months before the exam date. This gives adequate time to cover the entire syllabus, practice mock tests, and strengthen weak areas. However, with dedicated effort and expert guidance from Zenchers, even 6-9 months of focused preparation can yield excellent results.

RIMC selection has three stages: 1) Written Examination (English, Maths, GK), 2) Viva-Voce (Interview) for candidates who pass written test with 50% in each subject, and 3) Medical Examination at designated Military Hospitals. Final selection is based on combined performance in all three stages.
